There's no easy route to the Dolabra Shotgun Blueprint in Flashpoint. You won't pull it from ordinary crates, and it's not the kind of schematic you just stumble into while roaming. If you've been checking loot tables or comparing ARC Raiders Items with squadmates, you've probably already realised this one sits behind the Close Scrutiny condition and the ARC Assessor event. That means one thing right away: if you want the blueprint, you need to go where the fight is worst and stay alive long enough to cash out.

Tracking the dropship itself is actually the simple part. When the ARC Assessor comes in, the game makes sure everybody knows. It crashes into the match with a huge red beam over the landing area, so there's no mystery there. The real problem starts once you arrive. These sites are packed with nasty resistance, and not the harmless kind you can wipe in a few seconds. Surveyors put pressure on your movement, Vaporizers soak damage and punish bad peeks, and the extra waves can drag the whole thing into chaos fast. You can't really half-commit to it. Either your squad is ready to clear the zone properly, or you're probably donating gear.

Once the outside is under control, the next step is opening the ship's sealed compartments one at a time. This is where people get frustrated, because breaching the chambers doesn't guarantee anything. The Dolabra Blueprint is buried in a randomised high-value loot pool, mixed in with other rare ARC materials that are useful but not what you came for. So yeah, you might do a clean run, crack several containers, extract safely, and still leave empty-handed. Then it happens again. And again. A lot of players say the same thing after a week of farming: the grind isn't hard because the objective is confusing, it's hard because the drop just refuses to show up. If you're serious about farming it, efficiency matters more than hero plays. Clear fast, loot fast, get out.

The reason people keep running this event is simple. The Dolabra is worth the trouble. It's not just another shotgun with bigger numbers. Hip-fire gives you a broad electric spread that melts anything in your face, while aiming tightens that blast into a focused shot that hits much harder against armoured targets. That second firing mode is what really sells it. After dealing with Vaporizers during the farm, you'll immediately see why players rate the weapon so highly. It feels flexible, but it also feels different, which is rare enough in itself.

Getting the blueprint out of raid is only step one. You still need the right Gunsmith progression, and then the crafting bill shows up. Shredder Gyros, Magnetic Accelerators, and Vaporizer Regulators are the key materials, with the regulators being the part most people groan about. They're tied to specific enemies from the same update, so the farm doesn't really stop when the blueprint drops. That's why the Dolabra has turned into more than just a weapon. It's proof you've pushed through one of the roughest loops in the patch, stacked your resources, and kept extracting when the odds were awful. For players chasing long-term progression, that's exactly why something like Station Material Bundles can end up being part of the wider conversation around preparing for the grind.
